Obituary of Jerry E. Tolliver

Bedford – Jerry E. Tolliver, 72, of Bedford, passed away at 12:04 pm on Friday, October 27, 2023, at his residence. Born April 1, 1951, in Bedford, he was the son of Chester G. and Ruth V. (Troxel) Tolliver. He married Ruth Ann Hall and she survives. He had worked at RCA and retired from Lowe’s. He loved New York Yankees and watching trains. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann, of Bedford; two daughters, Pamela Abel and April Diane Tolliver and life-time partner, Joshua Nicley; two grandchildren, Nathan Way and Thomas Abel and wife, Kiara; a great-grandchild, John William Way; several cousins and aunts; his beloved dog, Casey Brian Tolliver. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, William, Chuck and Darrell Tolliver; a sister, Keren Kean. Cremation was chosen. No visitation or services are scheduled.
