Obituary of Shirley Blackwell

Springville – Shirley Blackwell, 81, of Springville, passed away at 3:25 am on Friday, October 27, 2023, at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born January 31, 1942, in Greene Co., she was the daughter of Luther and Verna Porter Craig Booker. She married Richard Blackwell on October 16, 1992, and he survives. She was an inspector and machine operator at RCA for thirty years and a member of the Mineral Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Richard, of Bedford; children, Lisa Ann Dodson, of Charlotte, NC, Mike Blackwell and Jordan, Lisa Marie McKeaigg and Brandon; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Kay Reed.
