Bedford – Margaret Day, 87, of Bedford, passed at 12:00 am on Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born June 27, 1936, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Harry and Mildred (Davis) George. She married Kenneth Day on September 19, 1953, and he survives. She attended Faith Baptist Church in Springville and was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Kenny Day Jr. and significant other, Rachael, of Hollywood, FL; children, Vanessa Moule and son Rylan, and Patricia Osburn; son Kevin Day and wife Jenny of Bedford, and their son Derek Day and wife Lacey, and children Landyn and Cameron Day; brother-in-law Robert Aliano. She is preceded by siblings Helen Clark and husband Sandy, Robert George and wife Marilyn, and Barbara Aliano.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bob Phillips and Rusty Burnette officiating.
