Bedford – George E. “P.J.” Conley, 56, of Bedford, passed away at 12:51 pm on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at his residence.

Born March 3, 1967, in Bedford, he was the son of Gail Eugene Conley and Ruby (Wheeler) Goins. He was a laborer for Austin Memorial Monument Company.

Survivors include his mother, Ruby Goins, of Bedford; siblings, Chris Conley and wife, Julie, of Bedford, Sandy Conley, of Medora, Gala Hatfield and husband, Rick, of Mitchell; several nieces and nephews; his fiancé, Patricia Rishforth, of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 15th at Patton Hill Cemetery with Reno Bates officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm on Tuesday, at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
