Mary Helen Wever

Bedford-Mary Helen Wever, 86, of Bedford died at 6:24pm on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Westview Nursing and Rehab.

Born July 19, 1936, in Oolitic, IN, she was the daughter of William Roscoe and Anna Viola (Jarvis) Moore. She married Donald B. Wever on October 7, 1955, and he preceded her in death on February 5, 2019. She had worked as a lab technician for Visteon prior to her retirement. Mary Helen had attended Bethel Christian Church in Owensburg and Momentum Community Church in Bedford.

Survivors include her children: Donette Stancombe of Bedford, Kelly Mollet of Bedford, Jason Wever of Bedford, and Josh Wever and wife Mandy of Bedford; six grandchildren: Scotty Mollet and wife Lori, Jessica Stancombe, Eli Mollet and fiancé Kashmir, Joslyn Alves and husband Sebastian, Kane Wever, and Ashlyn Wever; three great grandchildren: Taylor Mollet and Arron, Alexis Mollet and Trey Mollet; a great great granddaughter, Emberlyn Mollet; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a granddaughter, Halli Wever, two sisters, Edith Blackburn, and Sarah Bernice Myers, and two brothers, Homer Moore, and Kenneth Moore, a son-in-law, Clifton “Moe” Stancombe.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, June 6th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Reno Bates and David Self officiating. Burial will follow in the Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday, at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
