Leesville – Danny Brown, 73, of Leesville, passed away at 7:47 pm on Saturday, April 8, 2023.

Born August 20, 1949, in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Luther H. and Ruby (Flinn) Brown. He had been a carpenter for Bid-Low Construction and was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include a sister, Connie Scott and husband, Joe, of Heltonville; two brothers, Jerry Brown and wife, Cathy, and Terry Brown and wife, Sylvia, all of Leesville. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Oleta McCart and Loretta “Sis” Garriott; two brothers, Frank and Donnie Brown.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 13th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Taylor Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinhook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. The family would like to give a special Thank You to Kevin and Becky Garriott.
