Obituary of Anna Lee Lowther
Anna Lee Lowther, 95, of Bedford, passed away 6:25 A.M. Saturday, May 12th at the Bedford Regional Center.
Born on January 28, 1912 in Medora, IN, she was the daughter of Thornton Watts and Laura (Blackwood) Watts. She retired from Tiny Tots Clothing, was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Methodist Bible study group. She first married Raymond Shepard and he passed away on June 10, 1969. She then married John Lowther on April 24, 1977 and he passed away on September 17, 1994.
Surviving are two daughters: Jean Anderson of Bedford and Carolyn Plummer and her husband, Jerry of Medora; seven grandchildren: Diane McCory; Susan Dowdy and her husband, Dan; Scott Plummer and his wife, Pam; Lisa Plummer; Richard Anderson and his wife, Kim; John Anderson; Bryan Anderson and his wife, Debbie; fourteen great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, one daughter, Marilyn, in infancy; one great grandson: Joe Plummer; four brothers: Clarence, Clyde, James and Russell Watts; one sister: Mae Persinger Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 15th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Tim Ahlemeyer officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary on Monday, May 14th from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M.
