Obituary of Dustin L. Abbott

Springville – Dustin L. Abbott, 35, of Springville, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023. Born April 18, 1987, in Ft. Leonardwood, MO, he was the son of Willie and Helen (Wilhelm) Abbott. He was a stone cutter in Bloomington. Survivors include a son, Kaenan Briar Abbott; his mother, Helen Abbott, of Springville; his father and step-mom, Willie and Robin Abbott; his paternal grandmother, Wanda Lee Abbott, of Rushville, IN; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Santford Abbott, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Wilbur and Helen Wilhelm; two uncles, Bill and Bob Wilhelm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 10th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Dave Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in Springville Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
