Bedford – Larry Dewayne York, 51, of Bedford, passed away at 6:50 am on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at I.U. Health Hospice House.

Born June 21, 1971, in Bedford, he was the son of Manson Edward and Brenda K. (Webb) York. He married Elizabeth Hallatt on October 29, 2017, and she survives. He was a machine operator for AKKA Plastics.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth, of Bedford; five children, Cody York (Mat Miller), Levi York, Sapphire Arnold (Alex Dennis), Diamond Arnold, and Amethyst Arnold; two grandchildren, Mazikeen Dennis and Castiel Lindsey; his father, Manson Edward York; three siblings, James York (Mari), Norma Mayle (Jeff), and Roy York (Crystal); a bonus son/nephew, Joseph York; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Michael York; his paternal grandparents, Willis E. and Clois York; his maternal grandparents, Charles R. and Norma Jean (Brock) Webb.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Monday, January 16th in Green Hill Cemetery with Ferrell “Bucky” Charles officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
