Norman – Dwight G. Patton, 61, of Norman, passed away at 8:13 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at I.U. Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born June 20, 1961, in Bedford, he was the son of Roger G. and Marilyn S. (Hilderbrand) Patton. He was a sawyer at Blackwell Limestone.

Survivors include his companion, Vickie L. Johnson, of Oolitic; children, Brandy Weddle “Matt”, of Bedford, Joshua J. Patton “Megan”, of Greenfield, Justin L. Patton, of Bedford, Tiffany G. Patton, of Norman; a bonus child, Dietrich Watson, of Oolitic; grandchildren, Ronnie, Lizzie, and Scottie Walls, Wyatt, Connor, Zoey, and Ayden Patton, Whylee Weddle; two brothers, Kevin Patton and Kenny Patton “Dawn”; a sister, Sharon Saundres “Scott”. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 30th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Bowlen officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Norman. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
