Obituary of Christopher D. Banks

Springville – Christopher D. Banks, of Springville, entered into eternal life on Monday, December 12, 2022, at home surrounded by his wife and kids. Born May 9, 1974, in Bloomington, IN, he was the son of Danny and Karen (Lealos) Banks. Chris loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, camping, and buggy rides. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids, and granddaughter. He married his high school sweetheart, Amy Butler on March 18, 1995, and she survives. Together they had three beautiful children, Levi Banks (Emma), of Bedford, Abbigail Meadway (Brandon), of Avoca, and Breana Heidenreich (Douglas), of Mason, OH. They also have one granddaughter, Isabelle Marie, all surviving. Also surviving are his parents, Danny and Karen Banks, of Springville; two younger brothers, Andrew Banks (Stephanie), of Bedford and Brandon Banks (Katie), of Springville; nieces, Averey and Brooklyn Banks; nephews, Logan Banks, Lucas Banks, and Drew Shields; in-laws, Joe and Dana Butler; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Helen Banks and Mary Lealos; an aunt, Pat Peters; an uncle, Jerry Banks. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 16th and from 8:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, December 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services.
