This saddens me to my core. Karen and I worked together until I retired 2 years ago. She was the most awesome teacher and human being. She was so full of life and loved to laugh. I am deeply saddened also that I only saw this on facebook too late to attend the visitation. Please know you and her family have my deepest condolences. I met Karen "Sophie" many years ago when I was working the front desk at Fit For Life in Bedford as a college student. She was always so nice and encouraging. She always took and interest in my plans as a student at IU and encouraged me to pursue my goals. My sincerest condolences to the family and especially Seth. Very truly, Judge Nathan Nikirk.

I had the pleasure of teaching with Karen for a short time. Karen was always knowledgeable, fun and caring. She was one of the most geniune people I have ever met. Prayers for Seth and the family. ♥️

What an amazing teacher she was. We have 7 kids and she taught many of them and I remember how the older ones always wanted to go back and see her and how she always remembered all of them and gave them hugs. She was an great soul will be missed.

To the Bradley family; I'm so sorry to hear about "Sophie". I wasn't aware of her long struggle with cancer. I always enjoyed having her in my class. She had a unique sense of humor which I truly enjoyed. Be assured that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God give you strength and comfort you during this difficult time. Susan Edwards Vernon What a wonderful lady. She was a very influential teacher for my daughter Whitney Chestnut Lenart and always taught self respect and self confidence. Whitney is now 41 and not long ago was saying that Ms Bradley was always one of her favorite teachers and someone who had an impact on her life. Kendra Chestnut Stiffarm who is not 39, had her for 5th grade Social Studies and was her basketball coach. She was knowledgeable about basketball and was a powering positive influence for Kendra in basketball at that time in her life. She was a teacher and coach was that definitely approachable when parents had concerns or just needed to discuss their child. I always appreciated that and the fact that she was such a positive role model. I always loved her jovial personality. Our prayers go out to her family and close friends for peace and comfort and to cherish all the precious memories.
