Obituary of Elizabeth Evelyn Jackson

Elizabeth Evelyn Jackson, 96, of Bedford, journeyed peacefully from this world at 2:00 am on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Westview Nursing and Rehab. She is sorely missed. Her mark was indelible and powerful. Born August 9, 1926, in Bedford, she was the daughter of George D. and Mary Irene (Kirkman) Jones. She married Vernon “Buck” Jackson, and he preceded her in death. She retired from General Motors, working in the Wax Room as a Pattern Cleaner and attended Hilltop Pentecostal Church. Left to grieve this loss is a daughter, Cathie M. (Jackson) Paledino, of Mitchell; four grandchildren, Troy Speer, Alycia (Ali) Paledino, Heather Ford, and Samual Paledino; two great-grandchildren, Luca and Lenora Rose Paledino. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Susan (Jackson) Speer-Ford, and a brother Robert Jones. Private graveside services were conducted at 1:30 pm on Friday, November 25th in the Hilltop Cemetery with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating.
