Obituary of Vera V. Lively

Bedford Vera V. Peggy Lively, 85, of Bedford, died at 6:35 pm on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born June 2, 1925 in Pueblo, CO, she was the daughter of Ray and Lois (Fain) Rayburn. She married Merle E. Lively on February 3, 1946 and he preceded her in death on October 31, 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of Fairview Community Church. She was a member O.E.S. Leesville Chapter for over sixty years and Moose Lodge Auxiliary for forty years. Survivors include a son, David Lively and wife, Ellen; a grandson, Joshua Lively and wife, Randi; three great grandsons, Alexander, Johnathan and Colton; an adopted sister, Liona Dillon and husband, Jim of Fowler, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two uncles, two aunts and her grandparents. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 22nd at the Erie Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Lindy Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow. No calling hours are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
