Obituary of Bonnie S. Vowell

Bedford – Bonnie S. Vowell, 82, of Bedford, passed away at 8:39 pm on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at her residence. Born March 8, 1940, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Thomas and Glodie (Simmerman) Super. She married William “Bill” Vowell on December 20, 1963, and he preceded her in death on October 30, 2015. She worked and retired from W.F. Meyers Co. She was a member of the Tabernacle of Praise Church and Moms in Prayer International. She dearly loved and cared for her daughter, Kelly, her grandson, Hunter, and her dog, Zoe. She was always there to love and support her family, and loved cooking for them. Survivors include her daughter, Kelly Muhney, of Greenwood; her grandson, Hunter Muhney, of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four sisters, Betty Glasgow, Phyllis Allen, Clara Joan Tincher, and Mary Super (in infancy); three brothers, Johnny, Gene, and Tommy Super. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 17th at Green Hill Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Nikirk and Nancy Eggers officiating.
