Obituary of Jessie Liles

Avoca - Jessie Liles, 89 of 179 Center Street, Avoca died Sunday, February 11, 2007 at 4:00PM at his residence. Born on April 27, 1917 in Benton County, Tennessee, he was the son of John Harper and Sophia (Chandler) Liles. He married June (Thompson) Richardson on November 21, 1975 and she survives. He was a member of Avoca Baptist Church, Laborers & Hod Carriers Union Local 741 in Bloomington. Surviving along with his wife, June is one son, Joe Liles and his wife, Judy of Bloomington, five step-children, Bobby Joe Richardson, of Solsberry, Billy Gene Richardson and his wife Rhonda of Bloomfield, Beverly Stalcup of Bloomington, Jessica Dawn Orman of Bloomington, Leonard William Richardson of Bloomington, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren, two brothers, John Liles and his wife Cathleen of Solsberry, J.T. Liles and his wife, Zenobia of Greensburg, five sisters, Irene Brewer of Arkansas, Faye Walls of Bloomington, Esteen Ennis of Evansville, Francis Liles of Bloomigton, Clara Mae Hollingsworth of Tennessee, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: parents, two sisters, Fairy Dean Ward, Maxine Liles, four brothers, Cornell Liles, Albert Liles, A.J. Liles and Verdell Liles. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm Thursday February 15th at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Kyle Witmer and Rev. Bob Kirkman officiating. Burial will follow in Solberry Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, February 14th from 2:00 pm until 6:00pm at the Day & Carter Mortuary, and from 11:00 am until the hour of service Thursday at the Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield
