Obituary of Juanita Lewis

Bedford Juanita Lewis, 89, of Bedford, died at 7:10 am on Wednesday, February 02, 2011 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born May 30, 1921 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Elva Jackson. She married Russell Wayne Lewis and he preceded her in death. She retired from the Times-Mail after twenty-five years and attended the Leatherwood Christian Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lou Harris and Sue Goodman both of Bedford; two grandsons, Steve Goodman of Bedford and Michael Harris of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband and a son, William. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 7th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Phil Thorne officiating. Entombment will follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Monday, February 7th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
