Obituary of Ethel K. Hardin

Bedford – Ethel K. Hardin, 63, of Bedford, passed away at 8:43 am on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at her residence. Born February 6, 1959, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Joseph Wayne and Esther Lucille (Roach) Cummings. She married Kevin Hardin on October 25, 1981. She was a homemaker and was loved and known by many as Momma K. Survivors include her husband, Kevin, of Bedford; sons, Joseph Wayne (Jami) Hardin and children, Joshua and Jarrod, all of Springville, Charles Kevin Hardin and fiancé, Miranda Worley and children, Charlee and Bristol, all of Bedford; an uncle, Larry Cummings, of Oolitic; two nieces, Andria Harmon and Adria Matlock. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gerald Wayne Cummings and Chris R. (in infancy); two sisters, Alice Faye Striegel, and Anita Lucille, (in infancy). Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 25th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Bob Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, June 25th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
