Ty R. Vaught Obituary
Bedford – Ty R. Vaught, 50, of Bedford, passed away at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 15, 2022, at his residence.
Born December 6, 1971, in Bedford, he was the son of Rick and Georgetta Mikels Vaught. He was a volunteer at Stonebridge Health Campus and helped out at Four Seasons Sporting Goods Store. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church and BNL’s biggest fan.
Survivors include his parents, Rick and Georgetta Vaught, of Bedford; a sister, Heidi Williams and husband, Matt, of Bedford; three nieces, Kate, Anna and Sara Williams; his maternal grandmother, Nellie Mikels, of Bedford; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ralph Mikels; his paternal grandparents, Betty Spellings and Dick Vaught; a sister, Jamie Vaught.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 20th at the Free Methodist Church with Pastors Adam Strauser and Scott Salm officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 19th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday, all at the church.
