Jewel was an `un-official aunt' to many of us Brock kids, and Paul was a brother to our Aunt Regina. We grew up with her kids, and they were cousins to our cousins. I think it was a shock to many of us to find out that we weren't technically related, just as was to many to find that Mamaw Brock wasn't their blood Mamaw. Jewel was always ready to feed you, love you, comfort you, and offer words of good advice when she thought you were ready to listen. She'd hug you if you'd let her, and always smiled to see you. I loved that lady, and will miss her.
