Obituary of Marsha Lynn Kern

Bloomington – Marsha Lynn Kern, 69, of Bloomington, passed away at 7:00 am on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at her residence. Born April 15, 1952, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of David and Dorothy (Russo) Lyons. She married Bob Kern on March 30, 1992, and he survives. She was a budget analyst at NSWC Crane. She was a member of the Hillcrest Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Bob, of Bloomington; children, Natalie (Jimi) McFarlan, Bambie Breedlove, Amber Kern, Bobby (Kristen) Kern, and Robby Kern; eight grandchildren, Sage and Jade Kern, Harmonie Hill, Daven Linley, Haeven “Eagle” McFarlan, Kerrigan and Blake Browning, and Macarah McFarlan; a sister, Valarie Hester. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Marsha’s Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 2nd at Hillcrest Christian Church with Pastor Mark Fugate officiating.
