Obituary of Connie S. Watterson

Mitchell – Connie S. Watterson, 71, of Mitchell, formerly of Bedford, passed away at 8:30 am on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Mitchell Manor. Born February 10, 1951, she was the daughter of Cecil and Ruby Mae (Childers) Watterson. She had worked at PRD and attended the Bedford Baptist Temple. She enjoyed painting. Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Ellen Felknor and husband, Scott, of Bedford; a son, Stephen Arron Barger, and wife, Kayla, of Avoca; six grandchildren, Logan Barger, Bentley Barger, Macy Barger, Samantha Turpin, Jessica Turpin, and James Turpin; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Jimmy Watterson, of Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Cecil Watterson, Jr. and Billy Watterson; two sisters, Linda K. Ford and Betty McCluskey. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 21st at Leatherwood Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
