Obituary of Donald O. Patton

Bloomington – Donald O. Patton, 90, of Bloomington, formerly of Solsberry, passed away at 2:57 pm on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the Golden Living Center in Bloomington. Born October 3, 1931, he was the son of Enoch and Gertie (New) Patton. He married Patricia A. Bradford and she preceded him in death on May 26, 2021. He was an assembly worker for Ford and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Survivors include two sons, Michael Patton, and wife, Luetta, and Bradford Scott Patton; five grandchildren, Justin, Dustin (Jodee), Michael, Sherman, and Josh; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, George, Ronnie, and Keith Patton. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son, George Sherman Patton; three sisters, Mildred Staker, Virginia Owens, and Linda Patton; four brothers, Sandy Patton, Kenneth Patton, Clifford Patton, and James Patton Private graveside services will be conducted in Hilltop Cemetery with Donnie Sanders officiating.
