Obituary of Robert E. Bartley

Springville – Robert Edward Bartley, 79, of Springville, passed away at 6:30 am on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at I.U. Health Hospice House. Born September 3, 1942, in Bedford, he was the son of Maurice Edward and Martha Louise (Huff) Bartley. He married Isis Eileen Smith and she survives. He had worked in the warehouse for Thomson Consumer Electronics/RCA. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and was an avid sports fan and gardener. Survivors include his wife, Isis, of Springville; a son, John Thomas, of Florida; one grandson, John Edward Bartley; several step-children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his former wife, Kathy Stonestreet-Bartley; a daughter-in-law, Janese Bartley; a step-daughter, Cathy Roll; a brother, Tom Bartley; a grandson, Chad Flynn; a son-in-law, Bill Flynn; a great-grandson (in infancy). Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, March 15th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Rick Roll officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Tuesday at the mortuary.
