I have very fond and fun memories of working with Elaine at Shawswick Elementary School. She always had a smile on her face and was such a joy to be around. The best memory I can share is the day she made peach pies and brought them to school to share with the custodial and office staff. We all met in the large conference room together for lunch and pie. I had never had pie crust as delicious as what Elaine made and shared with us on that special day in 2002. Elaine was so kind to share her recipe with me and I've never used another recipe since! I love to bake and share pies and can't bake a pie without thinking of Elaine, the special lunch in 2002 and how honored I was to receive her crust recipe.

She was a sweet beautiful lady love to visit her and she would said come on in and get you a coke and sit down and smoke a cigarette with me and just sit here and talk we talk for hours love talking to her she was a funny lady going to miss her a lot
