Bedford – Paul Elliott, 58, of Bedford, lost his battle with cancer after a long hard fight, on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at his residence.

Born January 2, 1964, in Olney, IL, he was the son of James B. and Mary Ann (Kirk) Elliott. He married Elaine Meadows on November 3, 1995, and she survives. He was a truck driver for Hancock Trucking. He was a wonderful husband, friend, and neighbor. He raised Arabian horses and was a member of ECAHS.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine, of Bedford; a brother, Thad Elliott and wife, Angela, of California; a niece, Jayme; his father, James Elliott and his wife, Milly, of Bedford; his grandmother, Yozelle Kirk, of Vincennes; his loyal dogs, Olive and Blue. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann; his grandparents, Paul Kirk, Vernon and Lela Elliott.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 29th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Lindy Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Saturday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
