Obituary of Roy "Steve" Wininger

Bedford – Roy “Steve” Wininger, 59, of Bedford, passed away at 3:17 am on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. Born March 30, 1962, in Orange County, he was the son of Morris and Joan (Wellman) Wininger. He married Trisha Velasquez on July 15, 1989, and she survives. He was a superintendent for Weddle Brothers Construction. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Union and Laborers Union. He loved his family and his beloved dog, Dazee. Surivors include his wife, Trisha, of Bedford; a daughter, JaKayla Wininger (Doug Saladee), of Williams; his mother, Joan Wininger, of Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his father, Morris, and a brother, Chris D. Wininger. Graveside services will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Monday, December 27th in the Stampers Creek Cemetery with Pastor David Ferry officiating.
