Obituary of Patricia Mary Peters

Bedford- Patricia Mary (Lealos) Peters, died December 13, 2021, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Born May 10, 1947 in Bedford, she was the daughter of James Lealos and Mary Holmes Lealos. She was a graduate of Fayeteville High School class of 1965. She married Donald Peters on October 5, 1973 and he survives. She retired from NSWC Crane as a travel agent with PSD travel for over 20 years. Pat enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and travelling. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Donald R. Peters; daughters, Lydia (Phil) Sanders, Susie (Robert) Warren, Bridgett (Ryan) Manson, and Kimberly Woods (Josh Lane); grandchildren, Jon M. Sanders, Amanda J. Hudson, Sami J. Bailey, Thomas R. Porter, River J. Warren, Nathan J. Porter, Justice M. Woods, Kaitlyn J. Woods, Parker J. Warren, Kole A. Pullen; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Meadows and Karen Banks (Dana). She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Josiah S. Peters. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Jason Lefler officiating. Burial will follow in Springville West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from Noon until the hour of service Friday, all at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
