Saying Jack was a prankster is putting it lightly. Working for Tom Sanders, I got chance to meet Jack around 20 years ago while traveling to Eglin and White Sands. We would be gone for weeks and with every day passing the pranks would escalate. One morning while traveling to the job site, Jack would bump my car’s back bumper with his front bumper. At every stop sign and red light he would bump into my car and he and his buddies (Norm, Herold to name a few) would laugh and laugh and laugh. At one stop light, my passenger jumped out of our car and removed the antenna from Jack’s rental car completely shutting down their radio. Later that day, I noticed my antenna was missing and Jack had a ‘new’ antenna. To stop the tit-for-tat, I took Jack’s ‘new’ antenna and locked it in my trunk. For the rest of the trip, we would install our antenna before each trip and lock it up when we stopped. I never gave Jack’s antenna back.

Donna, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. We recall our high school years with fondness and we shared those Purdue years as well. The time slips away but you are on our minds and we are pleased that J Alan knew where he was going, and is there now.
