I had known John slightly since High School and I graduated with his brother Jim. My brother Jim graduated with Donnie and I also knew Donnie. My brother Jim was also friends with John through Car Shows and I had a few brief conversations with John on Facebook recently. I remember in High School his nickname was "Fritz"; though I never knew where or how it originated, I always thought of him as "Fritz". John was a great guy and had a great sense of humor. My heart goes out to all the family in your loss.
