Virginia R. Jenkins, 88, of Speedway, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born October 14, 1933, in Bedford, she was the daughter of William and Mary Jane (Lane) Byers. She married Charles Eugene Jenkins and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Turner, of Bedford; two sons, David Jenkins, of Speedway and Doug Jenkins, of Bedford; four grandchildren, D.J. Jenkins, Dustin Webb, Stephanie Webb, and David Robbins; two great grandchildren, Michael Holland, and Devin Webb. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and seven siblings.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 29th at Green Hill Cemetery with Jimmy Johnson officiating. No visitation hours are scheduled.
