My Uncle Ed. I remember something he said to me a long time ago that has always stuck with me through the years and something that I still think about even now. We was having a party or something I cant remember the occasion at the moment but something happened to me. I think I was being bullied by someone in school. And it really bothered me and we was sitting at the dinner table eating and I told Ed "I hate him" And I remember Ed telling me that "You shouldn't hate anyone because people can change" And I don't think Ed realized how much of an impact he had on me that day. Because, those words meant a lot to me then and even to this day. When I get angary at someone I still think about what he said. I didn't get to see my uncle very much because we lived so far apart. But, I always had a lot of respect and admiration for him if he knew it or not and I will always love him and miss him.

A memory that stands out above all others throughout the years and one Ill never forget. When Ed was a baby about 9 months old. He had a little toy rocket and every time he would push the button. It would go off and shoot straight up in the air. And he would watch it and laugh. That was my baby brother that I will always love him. Annie Clemmons

Ed, Rooster as we his family in Tennessee call him, was a character in his own way. As children getting into mischeif, as teens making everyone laugh. Such devotion to his wife and sons, to his mother. Rooster you will be missed beyond measure cousin. Gone way to soon. Rest in Peace, may God's glory shine all around you! Love ya cuz!! My name is Kathy I am so Blessed to have called Ed my Friend. We became friend before the Love story of Tammy Romans and Ed Bay. One of my favorite memories is all the late nights at Shoney's .Tammy and I would quietly sneak out tiptoeing and laughing at 2am to go with Ed to the local Waffle House in his 2 seater car. This went on for a while until Tammy's mom moved to KY. Ed got to the point he couldn't live without her and the plan to bring her back to Tennessee . With permission from my parents Ed and I went to KY to bring her home they were married soon after.
