Obituary of Jacqueline Ann Ford

Springville-Jacqueline Ann Ford, 78, of Springville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at home with her family. Born March 16, 1943, in Marion, IN, she was the daughter of James W. and Rosemary (Powell) Miller. She married Dempsey O. Ford and he preceded her in death on April 28, 2010. She worked at Carpenter’s Bus Service and later retired from Stone City Products as a machinist. She was very humble, modest, hardworking, and independent. She loved her family and put them above all. Survivors include two sons, Steve Ford (Laura) of Bedford, and Randy Ford of Springville; eight grandchildren: Stephanie Ford (Robert), Jessica Hardwick (Dusty), Jeanetta Ford-Rummell (Stuart), Josh Smith-Ford (Shanea), Randi Kinser (Sheldon), J.T. Ford (Lacey), Emily Carter (Jeremy), Alan Shaw (Trinity); twelve great grandchildren; five sisters, Dixie Smith, Vickie Marple, and Mona Smith all of Kentucky, Lena England of Bloomfield, and Marlene Raines of Tennessee; two brothers, Frank Ford, and Eddie Miller of Springville. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, Dee Wayne Ford, and Danny L. Ford; three brothers, James W. Miller, Joseph L. Miller, and Steven A. Miller; two sisters, Patricia Abram, and Donna S. Byers. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 14th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Dave Ferry officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, September 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Springville West Cemetery.
