Obituary of Jerry Don Bartlett

Bedford – Jerry Don Bartlett, 60, of Bedford, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born May 6, 1961, in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Paul and Sandra Jo (Spinks) Bartlett. He married Sherri Girdley on July 28, 1990, and she survives. He retired from G.E. as a line worker and was a farmer. He attended Guthrie Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Sherri, of Bedford; his mother, Sandra, of Heltonville; a daughter, Hannah Hudson, of Bedford; a son, Lucas (Mickeynze) Bartlett, of Bedford; a step-daughter, Keesha (Chuck) Presser, of Bedford; six grandchildren, Lane, Kinslee, and Kase Hudson, Kiya Bartlett, Paige and Parker Presser; nine siblings, Debbie Hobson, Jeff Bartlett, Carla Wilson, Roger Bartlett, Kevin Bartlett, Greg Bartlett, Kyle Bartlett, Cody Bartlett, and Todd Bartlett. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul; a brother-in-law, Earl Wilson and a nephew, Robert Hobson. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, August 27th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Sherman Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Bartlettsville Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
