Obituary of Beth Ann Staley

Bedford – Beth Ann Staley, 53, of Bedford, passed away at 6:07 am on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born April 22, 1968, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Jack Dorsett and Sharon (Dalton) Sons. She married Rodger Staley on October 10, 1998, and he survives. She was a homemaker and member of the Southland Church of Christ. She loved to garden, especially growing mint with her granddaughter, Keilynn. Survivors include her husband, Rodger, of Bedford; a daughter, Trenadee Hier and husband, Zachary, of Bedford; grandchildren, Keilynn and Ian Hier, of Bedford; her father, Jack Dorsett and wife, Danetta, of Bedford; a sister, Jacky Dorsett, of Columbus, IN; a brother, Denny Dorsett and wife, Cara, of Bedford; several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon, grandparents, Evelyn Dalton, Ilene Hardman, Paul and Catherine Dorsett; a brother, Jack W. Dorsett (in infancy). Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 4th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bud Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday, August 4th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
