Paul Darwin Petersen, 69, of Mitchell, passed away at 10:55 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Mitchell Manor.

Born April 23, 1952, in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Paul L. and Nancy R. (Everett) Petersen. He attended the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.

Survivors include his mother, Nancy R. Petersen, of Mitchell; three sisters, Becky A. (Martin) Mundy, of Williams, Marilyn (Gary) Lentz, of Springville, and Janet (Guy) Jackson, of Evansville. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul L. Petersen.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 28th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter with Pastor Bob Courson officiating. Burial will follow in Owensburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the hour of service on Wednesday, July 28th at the Day & Carter Mortuary
