Obituary of Michael Wayne Stalcup

Bedford – Michael Wayne Stalcup, 62, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021. He was born February 28, 1959, in Monroe County. He was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School with the class of 1977. He graduated from Indiana Wesleyan College with an Associates degree in business. He was a blacksmith and tool maker at Bybee Stone Co. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed traveling. Survivors include his father, Kenneth Stalcup; his former wife of thirty-two years, Debbie Phillips; two sons, Derek Wayne Stalcup (Brittany) and Nicholas Stalcup (Macy); step-children, Chris Huff and Tonya Jones (Roy); grandchildren, Wyatt Stalcup, Waylon Stalcup, Dylan Stalcup, Cody Huff, Roy Dale Jones; siblings, Dale Deckard and Tammy Williams (Monty). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nick and Rosie Stalcup; uncle, David Stalcup; step-mother, Brenda Stalcup. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. No services are planned.
