I was so sad when I saw that Kim had passed. Unfortunately I was unaware until after the funeral was already over. She was my elementary music teacher and choir director at Shawswick and through jr high. My oldest daughter was fortunate enough to also get to have her as a teacher and because of Kim’s love of music I am sitting in my bedroom listening to my daughter play her cello, that she only has because of Kim. We will never forget her and I only wish we had known sooner so we could have told her how much she meant to us and the difference she made in our lives. I loved watching her conduct and will never forget the way she tried not to laugh at us when we acted up in class. She was an amazing woman

So very sorry to hear that Kim had been sick and that she is gone from the Earth, but Heaven is even sweeter now that she is there. She is singing right in the presence of Jesus!!

My children and I knew Kim from time spent at Shawswick Schools. Two of my three children were blessed to have her as a teacher and remember her as being kind and caring. Heartfelt sympathy to the family. First met Kim when she was a young girl visiting our church with her grandparents, Merle and Lucille. She and our daughter were good friends who shared overnight visits with her grandparents. She was a sweet, lovely person.

It is with a very heavy heart that I remember precious Kim. I have known Kim since she was very young. We moved to Bedford in 1979 and attended the same church as the Hostetter's. We became dear friends. My grandson had Miss Hostetter when he was in junior high.
I send much love to Wanda and Chris. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. May you feel the loving arms of Jesus taking care of you as you go through this valley.
