Obituary of Shannon Rose McDermed

Bedford – Shannon Rose McDermed, 67, of Bedford, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Born October 9, 1953, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Benny and Patricia (George) McDermed. Survivors include her mother, Patricia McClintock, of Bedford; a sister, Shawn Waggoner, of Bedford; an aunt, Penny Rhoda, of Bedford; an uncle, Larry George, of Mississippi; four nephews; three great nieces; six great nephews and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Benny McDermed; her step-father, Jack McClintock. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 1st at Beech Grove Cemetery with Pastor Stan Day officiating.
