We are so sorry of Danny's passing I've known Danny and his family most of my lifetime father Paul and my dad were good friends.our Prayers are with all of the parker family.we worked with Danny at gm always friendly and quite funny he will be missed.

Worked with Daniel many years at the foundry. We were fellow millwright/welders. He was great to work with and always had interesting stories to tell. He developed many nicknames - the one I remember most was "Gator". Interesting how that developed. He started wearing a handlebar moustache that looked like walrus tusks, so people start calling him "Walrus" that got shortened to "Wally". That developed into "Wally Gator" after the cartoon character. Then it was eventually shortened to just "Gator". He was a very interesting guy and I always enjoyed being around him. God's speed "Gator"!

Danny, it sounds like God blessed you with a wonderful Life and Family! May you "continue" this journey, and Rest in Peace......it's not "forever"........for WE SHALL ALL MEET AGAIN in the Heavenly skies.....then it will be "forever". You left behind a TREASURE CHEST full of "rainbow memories"; laughter; and friendship, as we were growing up together - "out on good ole Garvey Lane!!". To Darlene and all the family, I was sorry to hear of Danny's passing. He was always good-natured and fun to be around. I never heard anyone speak a negative word against him. I hadn't seen him for several decades, but ran into him at Mill's Market a few years ago and we had a nice conversation. He loved his family so much and had many friends. I think he will be missed by a lot of people. I'm glad to have known him. Praying that God will comfort all of you at this painful time.

So sorry to hear of Danny's passing. We had lots of great times together fish going out to Springfield MO. To bass pro, deer hunting and just sitting talking and having coffee. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Danny you were a great friend to me and I'll always cherish the memories. RIP my dear friend.
