Springville – Janet L. Baker, 78, of Springville, passed away at 4:08 am on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Westview Nursing and Rehab. in Bedford.

Born December 27, 1942 in Greene Co., IN, she was the daughter of Ezra and Geneva (Wagner) Martindale. She married Lonnis Lee “Lonnie” Baker on April 3, 1959 and he preceded her in death on June 15, 2002. She had been a factory worker at RCA for twenty years and had attended the Solsberry Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include three children, Lesa Dawn Sanders and husband, Dan, of Greene Co., Bobbi Jo Chambers and husband, David, of Springville, and Larry Baker and wife, Laura, of Mitchell; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sons, Jimmy Lee, Lonnie Wayne, and Billy Don Baker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 17th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Jerry Gholson officiating. Burial will follow in Springville Cemetery West. Visitation will be from11:00 am until the hour of service on Monday, May 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
