Bedford – Nickolas Lee Turner, 17, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 in Bedford.

Born March 4, 2004, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Bobby Lee and Debra (Medley) Turner. He worked at McDonald’s and attended Fayetteville Baptist Church. He loved art and writing.

Survivors include his parents, of Bedford; two brothers, Tyler Turner and Nathaniel Turner; a sister, Ashly Turner, all of Bedford; his maternal grandmother, Marie Medley, of Bedford; his paternal grandmother, Patty Turner; aunts and uncles, John and Nellie Turner, Scott and Polly Patton, and Tammy Medley Smith. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Medley; his paternal grandfather, Bobby Turner. He is also survived by his biological mother, Laura Kent, of Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 17th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 16th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, April 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
