Bedford – Denise Jane Bair, 69, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at her residence.

Born November 1, 1951 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Charles D. and Jean (Brown) Foddrill. She married John Bair on July 3, 1971 and he survives. She was a retired medical records clerk at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. She was a member of the Leesville United Methodist Church, where she was active in the church choir and women’s group. She enjoyed her kids and grandkids and missed very few of their activities.

Survivors include her husband, John, of Bedford; three daughters, Tiffani Kurtz and husband, Chris, Tabatha Anderson and Tara Bair, all of Bedford; five grandchildren, Eden and Davin Anderson, Camryn and Cash Kurtz, and Kailee Schneider; a sister, Sherri Miller and husband, Roger, of Corydon; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Alana Norman; twin grandbabies, Campbell and Carson Kurtz.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 19th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Rob Kirts and Pastor Deborah Cronin officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 18th and from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
