Obituary of Gladys Marie Leach

Marlin, TX Gladys Marie Leach, 81, of Marlin, TX, formerly of Bedford, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in Texas. Born January 18, 1931 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Lloyd and Allie (Godsey) Hughes. She married Jack D. Leach on February 21, 1970 and he preceded her in death on July 19, 2005. She had co-owned a chiropractic equipment manufacturing business in Bedford and the Great Southwest Restaurant in Belton, TX. Survivors include two daughters, Renee Leach and Tia Lewellen in Indianapolis and Sondra Miller and Don of Marlin, TX; two sons, Mark Arthur and Rose of Holland, TX and Joe Arthur of Bloomfield; fifteen grandchildren, Shannon Criger, Shawn Arthur, Jeff Arthur, Eric Arthur, Joey Arthur, Paula Asher, Dawn Storm, D.P. Miller, Jacquelin Geiger, Kristen OBrien, Stevie Spradley, Hannah Leach-Lewellen, Harley Leach-Lewellen, Caleb Leach-Lewellen, Chloe Leach-Lewellen; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and her faithful furry companion, Sasha. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, siblings, Zina Strunk, Katherine Osborn, Jean Magnus, Elizabeth Turner, Eva Strunk, Cecil, Richard, Lloyd Jr., Ronnie Hughes and Bob Hughes. Funeral Information Memorial Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 12th at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Harold Godsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Patton Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Monday, November 12th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
