Mitchell – Brenda L. Gross, 70, of Mitchell, formerly of Bedford, passed away at 3:51 am on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Mitchell Manor Nursing Home.

Born July 14, 1950 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Gordon and Alice Blackburn. She was a homemaker, a loving mother and always had a smile on her face.

Survivors include three sons, Brad Magnus and wife, Trisha, of Springville, Larry Magnus and Dwayne Gross, of Bedford; a brother, Larry Blackburn and wife, Donna, both of Bedford; three grandchildren, Austin, Abigail and Audrey Magnus; three sisters, Sue Goens (Barney) of Mitchell, Stella Trowbridge and Marilyn Peters, both of Oolitic; sister-in-law, Margaret Blackburn, of Heltonville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ronnie Blackburn.

Graveside service will be conducted at 2:15 pm on Monday, March 8th at Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm on Monday, at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
