Obituary of Donald Lee Neal

Bedford – Donald Lee Neal, 87, of Bedford, passed away at 7:15 pm, on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at his residence. Born October 28, 1933 in Mitchell, he was the son of Paul and Dorothy (Rayhill) Neal. He married Betty Asbury on May 2, 1959 and she survives. He was a mail carrier for thirty years with the U.S. Postal Service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War and was a member of the Gillen Post #33 American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Betty, of Bedford; five children, Tracy Neal, Donna Harris, and Jeff Neal (Cara), all of Bedford, Kelley Robertson (Robbie), of Paoli, and Paul Neal, of Michigan; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Randall, a brother, Jerry Neal, and a sister, Lora Sue Neal.
