Obituary of Larry Foddrill

Heltonville – Larry Foddrill, 76, of Heltonville, passed away at 10:19 pm on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born January 30, 1945 in Martinsville, he was the son of Clifford Ermal and Betty (Wilson) Foddrill. He married Rita Fox on August 13, 1962 and she survives. He was a billboard installer for Negley Outdoor Signs. Survivors include his wife, Rita, of Heltonville; children, Shannon Foddrill and wife, Maria, of Heltonville, Shane Foddrill and wife, Thomisa, of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Levi Foddrill, Jacob Foddrill, Lynnsie Hughes and husband, Austin; two great grandchildren, Luna Foddrill and Hadley Hughes; a sister, Becky Ryan, of Bedford; a brother, Jack Foddrill and wife, Catherine, of Leesville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Sam Foddrill. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 3rd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Sister Becky Ryan and Pastor Michael Nicholson officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the hour of service on Wednesday, March 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
