Obituary of Vivian Fern Taylor

Bedford- Vivian F. Taylor, 84, of Bedford passed away at 4:15 a.m. on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born March 9, 1936 she was the daughter of Floyd and Fatima Lee (Jones) Lee. She married Eli Taylor, Jr. on November 7, 1952 and he preceded her in death on August 6, 2006. Vivian retired from RCA after working 31 years. She was a member of the Hilltop Pentecostal Church in Avoca. Survivors include two daughters; Sharon Winston and Danny of Bedford, Deborah Wilson and husband Joe of Bedford, and one son, Ben Taylor and wife Tina of Bedford; six grandchildren: Shlonda Morris, Chad Shifflett, Shandy Blackwell, Sarah Taflinger, Stephanie Miller, and Katelyn Bruce; fourteen great grandchildren; one brother, Dallas Lee of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, Richard Lee. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 19th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Kevin Maberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks and social distancing are required.
