Bedford¬- Keith E. Roberts, 89, of Bloomfield, died at IU Health Bedford on February 12, 2021.

Born January 2, 1932 in Martin County, he was the son of Ernest G. Roberts and Ilene (Smith) Roberts. He attended Owensburg High School through his Junior year and was a 1949 graduate of Oolitic High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Popcorn Christian Church. Keith retired from Crane’s Field Storage and Inspection Division.

Survivors include his two sons, Kenneth Roberts and wife Betty, of San Diego, CA, and Brian Roberts of Bloomfield; two daughters Kathy Diaz and husband Rudy, of San Diego, CA and Elyse Galizio and husband Chris of Cleveland, OH; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Miranda, Jessica, Kyle, Ben, Edwin, and Florence; several great grandchildren; and one brother, Glen Roberts and wife Glenda, of Frankfort, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter Karen Renee Roberts.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 23 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Dave Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in Owensburg cemetery where military rites will be held. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, February 22 and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday, all at Day & Carter Mortuary.
