I was lucky to work with Pat in the Personnel Department at Bloomington Hospital in the early 70's- her first job of a long career. As she moved up the ladder in jobs we still worked together on some programs and I always knew everything would go well . I will never forget that smile and uplifting voice of Pat's. As a personal story, I needed to be a "big brother" to her when she got "pulled over" several times on her way to work shortly after she bought a new Ford Torino ("Tony Torino") I didn't want her to have to find a job in Bedford because of losing her drivers license.

I was just getting to know Phyllis in Altrusa. She was serving as our secretary. I was totally shocked to hear of her death. May each family member be aware of the Lord's presence in his/her life. Phyllis was so energetic and full of life. I was just speaking to her Monday at our Altrusa meeting about friends we had in common and about going to Fr Lick to gamble on the party bus with Steve and David so many years ago. She was a good person who was taken too soon and will be missed.

Phyllis was an amazing woman and friend! She always had a way of making you feel right at home, and shared love to everyone she met. The first time I met Phyllis was whiling hanging out with Clint and Logan. A request for chicken wings and Buffalo turds was made, and Phyllis gladly obliged with enough to feed an army. She immediately lit the room up when she came in and made me feel like family. My prayers are with the family, we love you all.

I am shocked and so heartbroken to hear of Phyllis' passing. We were just together at our Altrusa meeting Monday. She loved helping others and Altrusa was a perfect outlet for that! She will be GREATLY missed by so many. We love you dearly, sweet friend!

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of this wonderful friend. We spent many hours fishing and playing cards when we were younger. We were just talking about making dumplings the other day and had plans to fish at Williams when the weather got warmer. She will be missed.
